Games & XR Mitteldeutschland e.V.
We are the industry association for the games and XR sector in Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia.
With a close network that connects the games industry, VR/AR production companies, research institutions, creative artists and e-sports associations, we promote the exchange of ideas and information across all sectors. This network
helps establishing the Central German region as an attractive location for companies in the games and XR industry. Therefore, we establish targeted contacts with external partners and support the transformation of the region.
Our Mission
Establish an ecosystem
Building bridges between education, universities, companies and funding institutions and utilizing synergy effects.
Supporting Start-Ups
Support in the search for information, specialists, projects and funding in the start-up sector.
Expanding the network
Networking between the players in the region, but also strengthening contacts with (inter-)national business partners and politicians.
Create visibility
Organization and support of events such as trade fairs, conferences and meetups, as well as public relations.
Representation of the Games & XR sector on site
Representation of the industry vis-à-vis society, business and politics, as well as a voice for the region.
Cooperation projects and know-how transfer
Initiating cooperation projects and events for exchange and networking in other sectors.
