A shared international stage for games from Germany
The Steam Sale is organised by Games Germany, the nationwide association of German games funding bodies and network institutions. Its aim is to increase the international visibility of Germany’s diverse games production, support studios in the distribution of their titles and connect released as well as upcoming games with new audiences.
For Central Germany, the strong participation is also a clear sign of the region’s growing development capacity. Studios from all three states are appearing together on an international platform – with successful indie titles, experimental concepts, narrative adventures, simulations, action games and new projects moving towards release.
